Yin Yoga, Thai Massage and Meridian Theory with Obediya Jones-Darrell and Danielle Hoogenboom
Join us for a wellness workshop that follows the format of our 50-hour educational retreat in Jamaica, February 2016. Students will learn about how an integrated understanding of western and eastern philosophical outlooks on health and wellness can improve your yoga practice and life. With a focus on the back , this workshop will review where yin yoga and Thai yoga massage positions overlap, and introduce a deeper understanding of human anatomy through hands on learning. Students will learn how to do Thai yoga massage techniques they can use to assist others and diverse their understanding of the human form.
Hours count as hours of CEU if you registered with Yoga Alliance.
Obediya Jones-Darrell began his work in the health and wellness in South East Asia in 1998. Following his apprenticeship in Indonesia, he expanded his skill set to include Thai Yoga Massage Therapy, Watsu Aquatic Therapy & Acupuncture. Over the past 15 years he has worked in the premiere Yoga and Physical Fitness facilities in the Lower Mainland.
