Expanded Yin Teacher Training at Karma Teachers

Week 1: Sept 8,9 & 10

Shapes, Props and Variations:

9am-5pm

Deepen your relationship with Yin through experiential learning. Explore the poses and ways to adapt them to expand our understanding of our forms, and those of our students.  Consists of practice, asana labs and some theory. Get ready to deep dive, nourish yourself and re-emerge with the revealed wisdom you have always carried within.

Week 2: Sept 15,16 & 17

Bones, Fascia and Meridians:

9am-5pm

Move further into your understanding of how yin yoga works, and into the ways to adapt this knowledge to our collective health and wellness practices. Presentations, articles, guest teachers and practice will allow us to explore the various under workings of our bodies.  Explore  anatomy in a simplified, yet expanded understanding of the form-- then learn how to apply this to your health and teaching.

Week 3: Sept 22, 23 & 24

Community, Teaching and Culture:

9am-5pm

A series for teachers interested in addressing the greater depths and currents of yoga. Lets address PTSD, emotional well being and  trauma stewardship in community, to create a support network for our growth as a global family.  Working with injuries that are physical, mental and/or emotional require resources, the finer details of teaching, and the ability to create your offerings as a new teacher.  Let's explore yoga both in and out of the studio walls, both on and off of the mat, as you grow on your path with support and community.
