In what ways do we influence and impact our community and the direction of the world today? What are the limiting beliefs that keep us from acknowledging our personal power?
This workshop will support us in becoming instruments of change, enabling us to connect to our divine nature as a source of inspiration to courageously hold sacred space for transformation within and around us. Our spiritual capacity enables us to collectively empower one another in observing the truth, compassion and understanding that moves from a place of deep wisdom to support consciousness in contributing to positive social change within our communities. Inspire change and lead with love.
**Bring a journal and comfortable clothes for a gentle seated yoga practice.

Yin Yoga is a seated yoga practice that uses props to help still the body to release holding and tension in the body and mind. Utilizing long holds and a conscious breath, we apply a gentle pressure to the connective tissues with a focus on the fascia. Housed within the fascia are meridian lines, the energetic system of the body that is used in acupuncture. By stimulating these lines we can balance energy, move blockages and work towards our optimal balance while creating space in the body and mind. Yin is a mediative, yet challenging practice: come and connect to your breath, release emotions and stress that weigh you down and revitalize body, mind and spirit. This practice fuses meditation, breath work and energy work.
Breathe more life and more peace into your sweetest self.
Please wear comfortable and warm yoga clothing as this practice is seated and still.

Yin Yoga is an entirely seated practice that emphasizes long still holds to open the connective tissues of the body and allows the muscles to surrender and relax.
Holding in this yin tissue can be hard to pinpoint, but definitely effects our should and lower back (especially for those of you that have desk jobs). Its been an amazing sources of healing for me, as it allows the tightness in the body to begin the journey of opening and releasing…oh the sweeeeet relief. Housed in the fascia is the energetic system of meridians, same theory in acupuncture..so its like a needle-less form of healing with similar energetic effects…..trippy business.
The breath is the anchor in the practice, so our focuses breathing helps calm the body and mind…my students say they have the best nights sleep after a yin class…so I will promise you all a sounds night’s rest after this one.

We connect to our breath to help remove toxins in the body and begin to digest the feelings and experiences fro our past that will not serve us in the new year. New Year, new beginnings! Danielle fuses numerous styles of meditation into the practice to sooth the soul and calm the waves of the mind. Yin Yoga is a joint based yoga, its great for seniors and students of every level.

A Yin Yoga Workshop.
A deeper discovery into the practice of yin yoga, a gentle mostly seated practice that focuses on joins and connective tissue of the body by utilizing long holds with an emphasis on the hips, pelvis and spine. Longer holds allows the deeper tissues of the body the opportunity to release and begins to stimulate stagnant energy in the body by pressuring the tissues that house our energetic system.
